      <description>Why are you silent?...

Why there is nobody reconciling these offended? Won't it be better at last to come together today in order to be free of this regime , to defend and save our people from this trouble?... Those who rule over the country know that if you are so indifferent, the government will keep its tyrannical power. I want to turn to the wise, intelligent, and educated people who are against this regime and say that it is not enough just to struggle with one another, against your government only in words; it is necessary to do real work.
The evidence that proves the guilt of the present authoritarian regime in Azerbaijan is vast, and these criminals won't go unpunished. They know it themselves. But every time they remember it, they become nervous and enforce violence against the people more and more to scare them. There is no doubt that after free and democratic power is established the people will understand all the crimes that have been done by such criminals and they will be punished. Sooner or later it will happen. The present regime which artificially leads the citizens into darkness won't be able to prevent the nation from awakening one day. The people still tolerate it, but when their patience ends, they will think it is better to die for the nation's happiness than to live in these conditions. But right now, the current regime is still profiting at the expense of our people.
There have been a number of dictators in this world. The fate of each of them is well known. It won't be long until the fate of the leaders of present regime in Azerbaijan will be like those dictators who have been punished for their offenses against humanity. Those living in the history of the former Soviet Union as Lenin, Stalin, and Mikoyan, and others who commited many crimes received their punishments for what they had done. The present examlpe being Saddam Huseyin.
It is interesting that the democratic leaders who are fully capable of governing the country are so silent despite being against this regime. May be they also think of emigrating out of this country like Fehmi bey Hajiyev as for the present regime .The crude oil of the country is sold to foreign countries for high prices while the social conditions of our citizens are miserable and as long as this government is in power there is no hope for any improvement. I want to say to the present government that if you are unable to solve the problems of Azerbaijan, let intelligent, educated specialists come to power and solve the problems. In other countries, such problems are solved before they occur, but here the opposite is true. Indeed, they make the problems themselves and make them worse. They should be solved at all, or at least immediately, after they appear. They wake up only when problems are already made. Can't they be solved beforehand? Governmental structures make problems for their benefit through corruption and they misappropriate of great amounts of money. It shows that the regime continues to grow richer and stronger and maintains.
Now let's discuss one of the main matters - the silence of those who live emigrant lives with love in their hearts for their country... Azerbaijanis living abroad, those who don't agree with the authoritarian regime and live with their problems in their hearts. Mahir Javadov, Ayaz Mutallibov, Rasul Guliyev and dozens of well-known people , thousands of scientists, millions of those who are in economic poverty, and one hundred thousand of those who were forced to leave their country. Why are you silent? Why is there not anybody among them who will mediate to reconcile those offended? Won't it be better if today you came together in order to be free of this regime and to defend the people from this trouble.? They also know very well that as long as you are so indifferent to one another, the government will keep its hegemonical power. I turn to the wise, intelligent, and educated crowd who are against this regime and want to say that it is not enough just to struggle with one another and against the government with only words. You should do real work. The ones who are in governmental power also know that their crimes will be punished. It is time to move, go ahead with the thought " Everything has its time". The struggle must not consist of only the personal beneifts. The struggle must include the lands which are the inheritance of our fathers and grandfathers and the realization of the people's interest and conscience. Those who are our enemies cannot separate us from one another. The future of our children is in danger as long as this regime is in power.
We must think about it right now. And I have recently heard that those in power have attempted to use bribery to buy off those who would be in opposition: some oppositional parties, 90 percent of the media, and some other organizations. I can't say if this is true, but if it is we cannot speak of a free and democratic life in Azerbaijan. In this case, our poor nation will have even more troubles. I wouldn't want my writings to be in vain or like the satirical poems of Sabir or the sayings of Mirze Saket who is currently in prison. It's high time to wake up. It's time to fight. You should get up and demand your rights. I call you all to be brave. There is a proverb that our ancestors left for us:" One man no man" Let's get together - hand in hand and do our best for the flourishing future of our nation, people.
